Intercultural Understanding in Action
Crystal Sin ’19, OD, is bringing intercultural understanding to the medical sphere. Although she's wanted to be a doctor from a young age, Sin’s desire to learn more about her family's history led her to blend her pre-med requirements with a major in Asian Studies at Pitzer. While a Pitzer student, she traveled to China to build skills in Mandarin. She’s now using those skills to help Mandarin-speaking patients as an optometrist.
